What To Expect

Q: What denomination are you a part of?
A: Family Worship Christian Center is a non-denominational church, not affiliated with a particular denomination. Our church has people who were raised in any number of denominations including - Methodist, Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Assembly Of God and several others. The thing that we all have in common is that we exalt Jesus Christ as Lord and we are committed to equipping people with the Word of God for the purpose of influencing their neighborhoods, communities, nation, and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located at 3945 E Patrick Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89120. If you would like directions, please go to our services page.

Q: When are your services?
A:    Sundays @ 10:30am  Worship service
        Mondays @ 5:00pm  Healing school
        Mondays @ 6:00pm  Spirit-led prayer
        Wednesdays @ 7:00pm  Mid-week service & One Love youth service                                                                      

Q: What should I wear to church?
A: You will see all manner of dress at any given service - from jeans to dresses/suits. Come dressed in what is comfortable for you.

Q: What do I do with my children?
A: Your children can be part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, games and loveable characters that teach Godly values at an age appropriate level. The JOY Center is divided in two groups; Birth – 2 years and 3-5 years, our 24-7 Children's Church for ages 6 - 12 years coincide with the adult worship service. While you are experiencing the life changing worship of Family Worship Christian Center, your children are experiencing it as well.

Q: Will I feel uncomfortable as a visitor?
A: We have many visitors and believe you will feel right at home the first time you visit with us.

Q: Will I know what to do when I get there?
A: There are greeters at the door who can help direct you or answer any questions you might have.

Q: As a visitor, will I be asked to give an offering?
A: Visitors or members are never pressured to give in any offerings. Visitors are encouraged to simply be our guest and find out who we are.

Q: Do I need to become a member?
A: No, all are welcome to worship with us at Family Worship Christian Center. However, we do offer scheduled membership classes for those who are interested in finding out more about opportunities to serve at FWCC.

Q: Do you have special communion services?
A: Once every 4 weeks, communion is observed during a Sunday morning service.

Q: What is the praise and worship like?
A: Family Worship Christian Center offers contemporary style music that is upbeat and heartfelt. Sometimes you might see people raise their hands during worship as an expression of their thankfulness and devotion to God.
